Tampa Bay Buccaneers 2026 Predictions
Where we have them finishing
- Nick: 7-10
- Nico: 8-9
- Brooklyn: 7-10
Why
The Bucs showed to be a powerhouse last year midway through the season as Baker Mayfield looked like an early MVP candidate before the injury bug took over. Losing Mike Evans is hard, and still having Godwin who is clearly regressing has a lot of questions heading into this season, but Egbuka seems to be the prime target for Baker this season.
— Nick, 7-10
I believe the Bucs will continue to play at the same level they brought last year. They will start the season with a 7-3 record, but fumble under pressure in the second half of the season. Another team that did not get substantially better in the offseason, and has aging stars that are not improving at this point in their careers.
— Nico, 8-9
The Bucs went 6-2 before falling apart to finish 8-9, with an offense that managed just 22.4 PPG (18th). I think Chris Godwin is starting to hit that regression wall, and now Emeka Egbuka has to prove he can handle the WR1 role after a 938-yard rookie season. Bucky Irving needs to be a pivotal partner in this offense, but there are too many questions for me to expect much. 7-10.
— Brooklyn, 7-10
