Why

Chargers fans should be excited with the pairing of Herbert and Mike McDaniel, as he has shown in his time in Miami he can make an offense work with the right talent and that is what this offense really showcased last season. While addressing their o line issues in the off season and upgrading their d line in the draft, I feel this is the best team in the AFC west

The revamped O-Line + Mike McDaniel + a healthy backfield has me really excited for Herbert and this offense. The coaching staff looks as sharp as ever. Their schedule is not the worst, and I cannot wait for their matchups vs KC next year.

The Chargers’ offensive line was brutally horrendous last year, ranking dead last in pass-block win rate, but they’ve completely addressed that weakness. Getting Slater and Alt back, adding Biadasz and Strange, plus more depth, could be huge for Herbert. If they stay healthy, I see 14-3 and a real shot to take over the AFC.
