Why

The Raiders will be heading into their first year under Klint Kubiack as they try to build around their #1 overall pick. Adding Tyler Linderbaum helps with your o line, and they have made some good signings of defense like Quay Walker and Kwity Paye They are a lot of holes, but this team will be an improvement from last year

Fernando will probably start Week 8 and shock the world with a win vs the Jets. The Raiders are very top heavy, but they finished with the first overall pick for a reason. Week 18 will be one of those classic back ups vs bad team matchups, and Mendoza will get the win.

The Raiders went 3-14 last year, scoring just 14.2 PPG (32nd) with a -191 point differential. Kirk Cousins and pick Fernando Mendoza give them some QB upside, but this is still a roster with major holes and a first-year coaching staff. Ashton Jeanty and Maxx Crosby give them pieces to build around, but I’m not sure there are enough answers elsewhere to get them past 3-14.
